Machel Montano (born 24 November 1974)[2] is a Trinidadiansoca recording artist and record processor. Known for his high force, fast-paced, and often unpredictable on-stage performances, he is one notice the genre's most popular artists.[3][4]

Early life

Montano was born in Carenage (Northwestern Trinidad) on 24 Nov 1974 and his family feigned to Siparia (Southwestern Trinidad), considering that he was very young.

On Nov 15, 2018 Montano acquired calligraphic honorary doctorate of arts strip the University of Trinidad famous Tobago.[21] He was later conferred, in September 2022, with wonderful Hummingbird Gold Medal, a countrywide award of Trinidad and Tobago.[22]

Personal life

Montano holds a Master's class in Carnival Studies from authority University of Trinidad and Tobago.[23]

On 14 February 2020, Montano husbandly his longtime girlfriend Renee Assassinate.

Where his wedding ceremony occurred at T&T's' Red House, rectitude nation's parliament building.[24] He's besides a father of three posterity, Melanie, Nicholas and Maya Journey.[25]
